Common questions
How is this different from Glood, Rebuy, or PickyStory?
Those tools rank cross-sells by click-through rate on top of generic ML. MBA mines YOUR store's actual co-purchase patterns and ranks them by profit lift. Every rule is inspectable: support, confidence, lift. Override what you disagree with.
How long does the first mining job take?
Under a minute for most stores. The default 90-day window covers a few thousand to a few hundred thousand orders. Results land in /app/opportunities ranked by opportunity score.
Does it work with my theme?
Yes. The recommendations API is theme-agnostic. The theme app extension drops a Frequently Bought Together block via Shopify's standard block API; Dawn, Sense, Refresh, and most third-party themes are supported out of the box.
Are AI features required?
No. The mining engines (sql_pairs, fp_growth, hui) work without any AI configuration. AI features (bundle copy, ai_catalog cold start) are opt-in and need your own Anthropic or OpenAI key.
What if I want to leave?
Uninstall from the Shopify admin. Your access stops at the end of the billing period. The bundles you pushed (native Shopify Bundle products) stay on your store, owned by you. We retain mining history for 30 days in case you reinstall, then permanently delete it.
